Newly decorated and reasonably large room, very good stay!
Huge & fairly clean hotel, very good service, perfect and excellent location in the building with a nice view over the harbour. Varied and great breakfast to star a day with a phenomenal view and hot beverages, for instance.

The location is excellent and the staff were very pleasant. The buffet breakfast was also excellent.
We did not realise the trouble we would have getting from Bremen to Hamburg that particular afternoon. The traffic on this highway was the worst we have experienced and so it was very late when we arrived. We therefore we did not have the time to appreciate the hotel and location as we had to leave early that morning to meet up with people we missed the afternoon previously because of the traffic.

Lively terrace seating for meals, but poor airflow made our stay uncomfortable.

the magnificent view on harbour
I had booked a room in the old part of the hotel but got one in the new tower! which wasn't bad either. The parking is a bit of a mistery. Actually there is a park house almost attached to the hotel although they don't explain well since it does not belong to the hotel and they don't take responsibility, but it was a safe way of parking the car anyway for 14 Euros the day.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. 5 minute walk from an s bahn and u bahn station, 5 minute walk from Reaper Street and right in the middle of quite a few of the sights in Hamburg. I would definitely stay here again!
The view from my window was of the parking lot, but the drapes were heavy enough that they didn't let any light through, so I still slept very well.

Comfortable bed, cleanliness
Expensive breakfast. A good one, though.

Location to the Lion King theater. Free Internet.
High park costs for car parking (any free park spaces are all gone during the weekend). The bed was too small for the price paid. No wireless Internet. In-room dining is too expensive - room charge for room service is around 10€. Cleaning is only when you request it.

Nautical theme, proximity to ferry port, interconnected buildings
Navigating the hotel layout proved frustrating due to unclear signage!!! The entrance staircases are excessively steep, posing serious challenges, particularly for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues!!!

Was an excellent hotel ideally placed for the train station (with direct links to the airport) and the docks area of Hamburg. We were there for a concert in the area and it was ideally placed for that as it was just a few minutes walk away
Nothing really. Hotel was very good, room and breakfast excellent

En-suite shower. Beds comfortable after we requested additional pillows.
Our rooms were very hot, with the only means of controlling the temperature being to open the windows, however the rooms were adjacent to the U-Bahn line which made it very noisy. You either tried to sleep in the heat, or sleep through the noise. Admittedly the hotel provide each guest with ear plugs! While the hotel is close to the station, it is quite a climb up steps, unless you take a long diversion, and is therefore not suitable for the elderly or infirm, and this needs to be made clearer to guests.

Great hotel right next to the harbor with fine views. The maritime decor caught my eye immediately. I loved relaxing on the terrace while enjoying cocktails. Breakfast was so great. There was a good selection and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, the room was a bit small and lacked air conditioning, especially at night. Opening the window let in street noise, hard to sleep. The check-in information could have been clearer, especially about Wi-Fi and payment details. The quirky character of the place and friendly staff made it enjoyable, but the room temperature was an issue.
